You’re Not Alone, and You Have Options

PRP uses your own blood, so there’s no risk of rejection or allergic reaction.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is one of the most exciting developments in non-surgical orthopedic medicine. The idea is simple: your own platelets carry powerful growth factors that drive healing. When you concentrate those platelets and inject them directly into an injured tendon or joint, you amplify the healing process dramatically.

At Ironworks, we draw a small sample of your blood, spin it in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich layer, and inject it, under ultrasound guidance, into the exact injury site. The whole process takes about 45 minutes and uses no pharmaceuticals.

Many patients benefit from a single injection. Others do best with a series of 2–3 injections spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
