You’re Not Alone, and You Have Options

Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common (and most treatable) foot conditions we see.

Plantar fasciitis is the most common cause of heel pain. The classic sign: sharp pain in the bottom of the heel with your first steps in the morning, then easing up as you walk. It’s caused by inflammation and small tears in the plantar fascia, the thick band of tissue running from heel to toes.

Plantar fasciitis is one of the most treatable conditions we see, but it can be stubborn if ignored. The sooner you start a proper treatment program, the faster it resolves. Most patients who follow a complete plan are significantly better within 6–12 weeks.

How we treat it

Targeted stretching and calf strengthening program

Custom orthotics molded to your feet

Night splints to keep the fascia stretched overnight

Corticosteroid injection for persistent inflammation

Shockwave therapy for chronic cases (typically after 6+ weeks)

PRP injection when shockwave and conservative care haven't worked

Surgery, a last resort, but it's rarely needed

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your first plantar fasciitis visit confirms the diagnosis, rules out other causes of heel pain, and starts treatment immediately.

History of the pain pattern, activities, and previous treatments

Physical exam of the arch, heel, and calf flexibility

Digital X-ray to rule out stress fractures or other bony issues

Night splint fitting and orthotic discussion

Plan for escalation (shockwave, injections) if conservative care doesn't work in 6 to 8 weeks
